Freaking Enormous Koi

Wednesday, January 16, 2008

To celebrate my birthday last weekend, I wanted to go somewhere that was relaxing, rejuvenating, and tranquil.

Well, either way. I did get to see these beautiful fishies. :o)

I used to go to Balboa Park in San Diego often with my grandparents. My Grandma would sit outside near the fountain while my Grandpa and I ran around the science center and saw the IMAX movie.

Those are beautiful shots. Koi seem so peaceful.

    Thanks!

They were peaceful, despite how large they were. :o)

(It was somewhat alarming. I was envisioning old Japanese tales of man-eating koi. eeeeek.)
