Sacred Beach

Taken at Polihale Beach on the Island of Kauai. This is where the Hawaiians believe the spirits depart the islands for heaven. I agree that it must be true. It was certainly the most beautiful beach I've ever seen in my life, and I'm pretty sure it might be the most incredible beach on the planet.

    I've been to this beach! It's such a beautiful spot, a long way from all the other tourist areas. It really felt like we were explorers when we were there. These shots of yours are fantastic! Kauai is one of my favorite places on Earth. My Fiance asked me to marry him there. It will always hold a special spot in my heart.

    Yeah, we went there on our honeymoon. (after getting married on the big island.)

    It's indescribable really, we were stunned into silence upon first seeing it. (The beach, I mean.) It *feels sacred.

    But, I agree completely. There's something profound about Kauai. It's amazing.
